Candidate Privacy Policy
In accordance with data protection legislation and, more specifically, with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this Candidate Privacy Policy complies with the duty to inform you about the recruitment process carry out by TITAN OPERATING SYSTEM, S.L.
1. Data Controller
In accordance with GDPR, TITAN OPERATING SYSTEM, SL. (hereinafter, "Titan" or “Company” or “Data Controller” or “We”), as data controller of the Personal Data, shall process your personal data (hereafter, the “Personal Data”) in a lawful, fair and transparent manner. 2. Purpose and lawful bases for processing
Titan informs you that the Personal Data provided by the Candidate during the recruitment process will be processed to contact you and manage your job application and, if applicable, to carry out the necessary steps to initiate the onboarding process. The legal basis for the processing of your data is to take steps at the request of the Candidate prior to entering into a contract.
Furthermore, Titan may process your Personal Data as Candidate to contact you for other employment offers that may match your profile in the future. The legal basis for the processing of the personal data is your consent, as indicated by marking the corresponding checkbox. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of previous processing.
3. Categories of Personal Data processed
The categories of personal data the Company will process during the aforementioned purposes are: Identification data, contact data, previous professional data and any other data contained in your CV.
4. Data retention
Depending on the specific recruitment process, it is possible that the Candidate´s personal information may have been obtained from employment agencies.
5. Security and confidentiality duties
Titan may engage third parties to act as service providers to perform recruitment process on Titan´s behalf (i.e., data processors) that may imply processing Candidate’s Personal data in connection with the data processing activities described beforehand. Such tasks may include hosting and cloud services providers, IT support services or human resources managing software. These providers will not process the Personal Data for their own purposes but only to comply with Titan’s instructions and are obliged to handle Candidate’s personal data in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.
6. Data recipients
The Candidate´s personal data will be retained by Titan until the recruitment process is completed. However, if the Candidate has provided his/her consent for the purpose of contacting him/her for further job opportunities that may match his/her profile in the future for a period of one (1) year or until his/her consent is withdrawn.
7. International data transfers
Candidate´s personal data will not be communicated to third parties or be subject to international data transfers. Nonetheless, in case international data transfers, Titan shall ensure the security and protection of Persona Data according to applicable regulation, such as standard contractual clauses, except in cases where the European Commission has determined that the country where the recipient is located in a country that provides an adequate level of protection for personal data.
8. Security and confidentiality duties
The Company has implemented the necessary technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security of the Candidate´s personal data and to prevent its alteration, loss, or unauthorized access or processing, taking into account the state of the art, the nature of the data, and the risks to which it is exposed.
